A sense of belonging is a fundamental human need that directly fuels happiness, resilience and overall wellbeing. When young people experience belonging, they lead differently, relate differently, and build stronger communities. It lowers anxiety and increases academic readiness. When we build a culture of belonging we give students a better environment for learning and growth.
